For the summer of 2025, two trips will be available for Survivors and Co-Survivors! You only need to register once to be entered into the lottery for a chance to participate in one of these trips.

Please note that each survivor may attend only one Survivor/Co-Survivor trip in their lifetime. Selection is determined by a lottery, so be sure to sign up by March 31st for a chance to join either our annual 3-day adventure or our exclusive 2025 5-day Survivor/Co-Survivor experience.  Must be 18 years old to participate.

3-Day Adventure – July 22-24, 2025
This trip will be three days on the Salmon River out of Riggins, Idaho with Orange Torpedo Outfitters.

5-day Adventure – August 20-24, 2025
The River Discovery Board is excited to announce a second trip being a 5-day Adventure down the Lower Salmon Canyons with Wilderness River Outfitters for adult cancer survivors and one adult co-survivor/caregiver! This second trip was made possible by a generous donation from The Blessing Bike.

These experiences are designed to help you reconnect, challenge yourself, and share unforgettable moments with someone who has been by your side on this cancer journey.

Participants will embark on a thrilling journey filled with rafting, kayaking, paddleboarding, games, and more, creating meaningful memories in a supportive environment. No prior rafting or camping experience is needed! The campsites have sand and uneven terrain where participants access the river. The ability to self-ambulate and maintain balance with minimal assistance is mandatory for this extended-day River Adventure.

Cancer affects both survivors and caregivers—these trips offer healing, reconnection, and strength in nature. Applications close March 31! When you register, you’ll be entered for a chance at either trip.
