SAVE THE DATE for a Summer Paddle Out CanKick-off Party!
Join your River Discovery friends for a day of paddling, kayaking and general merriment.
In partnership with our friends at Idaho River Sports, Paddle Out Cancer participants will have two hours to paddle around Quinn’s Pond.
Cancer patients and survivors are free of charge. Caregivers pay a $10 fee and are encouraged to join in the fun.
Stand Up Paddle Board Sessions Available for $25 each (includes board rental). Sign ups coming soon.
~ Session One at 9am
~ Session Two at 11am
All participants will have two hours to paddle around the beautiful new ponds at Boise’s Esther Simplot Park and Quinn’s Pond. Cancer patients and survivors are free of charge.
~ Cancer survivors are provided a SUP or kayak rental plus life vest for free
~ Caregivers will be charged a $10 fee and are encouraged to join in the fun
~ Bring your own SUP or Kayak and you can also participate
~ Registration is encouraged, but not required.​
SUP/Kayak Summer Sessions. Stand-up Paddle Board (SUP) is a great opportunity to learn a new outdoor sport that is tailored to your ability. Paddle boarding offers you a chance to experience a water activity working on your strength, flexibility, balance and paddling fun. Paddle Boarding can be customized to your abilities and is a great introduction to water activities.
This event is happening in part from a generous community grant from Eagle-Garden City Rotary Club of Idaho.
